On Friday, our debt help charity will be releasing our survey statistics formed over the past year. The survey was completed anonymously and reveals interesting traits about the expectations people have when dealing with debt advice organisations.
The survey was placed on our website and shared socially. Over 1,800 people completed the short questionnaire and left their thoughts and views. The purpose of the survey was to better understand how people think about debt, what they expect when they contact an advice agency, who they spoke to about their money worries and if they had been charged for debt advice.
As the report is collated and concluded the initial signs suggest the findings are of interest, with some people paying as much as £3,000 for debt advice with a for profit company. The findings will be released on Friday within the Debt Support Trust blog.
