Scottish House Prices

House prices in Scotland dropped 3.7% in the past three months which meant the average house price over the last quarter was £152,565.

The new figures which were released by Llyods TSB also found there was an increase of 27% in house purchases.

Donald MacRae, chief economist for Lloyds TSB Scotland, said: “The Scottish housing market has adjusted to the recession with a halving of sales and a period of volatile price movement over the last three-and-a-half years.”
