UK House Prices Fall

UK House Prices Fall

According to a new survey by Communities and Local Government, house prices fell by 0.5% in the first three months of the year compared with the previous quarter.

However it is worth noting that house prices in March rose 1.2% which means the current prices are 0.9% higher than last year based on this survey.

Nicholas Ayre, director of UK buying agent Home Fusion, said "The property market, very clearly, has fragmented into a series of micro-markets".

"It could be many years before we see the return of a property market that trends at a national level."
