UK Inflation Falls To 4%
According to the consumer price index (cpi) the UK inflation rate fell in March to 4% from 4.4% in February.
It is believed that food and drink (Non-alcoholic) is a large reason for the drop as the prices fell at a record rate.
The Retail Prices Index (RPI) inflation which includes mortgage interest payments also fell to 5.3% in March from 5.5% in February.
